These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the I'm Okay app and related services ("the Service"). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
I'm Okay is a daily well-being check-in app. You confirm you are okay each day with a single tap. If you do not check in within the time window you configure, the Service sends an alert — by push notification and SMS — to the emergency contacts you have registered, so they can reach out to you.
I'm Okay is a supplementary convenience tool, not an emergency, medical, security, or rescue service. Alert delivery depends on factors outside our control, including network connectivity, your device's status and settings, and third-party providers (push notification and SMS services). Alerts may be delayed or may not be delivered. Do not rely on the Service as your sole means of obtaining help. In a real emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately (for example, 119 or 112 in Korea).
The Service is intended for general audiences. You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with applicable local laws.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including registering contacts without their consent, using it to harass others, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
All content, trademarks, and software related to the Service are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including the timely or successful delivery of any reminder or alert.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any harm arising from delayed, failed, or undelivered reminders or alerts, or from reliance on the Service in place of professional or emergency assistance.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced within the app or on this page, and the effective date above will be updated. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
